Rear Subframe Drop
Not long or hard at all. I’ve done this a few times on my garage floor.
-disconnect brake line
-disconnect strut at the bottom
-disconnect parking brake support bolts
-disconnect caliper and leave attached to parking brake
-pull subframe bolts with jack underneath diff
-drop it like it’s hot
Pro tip some people think by taking the rotors off and other things will help lighten the load. But it’s false. The more weight you have on the ends stabilize the subframe when you bring it down with a jack. And it’s also less work.
