Default Rear Subframe Drop

Hi, I'm dealing with the rear end and rear wheel arch rust over this winter. I'm just wondering roughly how much time/hassle it is to drop out the rear subframe?

Half a day on your back. Should be less if you have a lift.

Not long or hard at all. I’ve done this a few times on my garage floor.

-disconnect brake line
-disconnect strut at the bottom
-disconnect parking brake support bolts
-disconnect caliper and leave attached to parking brake
-pull subframe bolts with jack underneath diff
-drop it like it’s hot

Pro tip some people think by taking the rotors off and other things will help lighten the load. But it’s false. The more weight you have on the ends stabilize the subframe when you bring it down with a jack. And it’s also less work.
