Default Ride height..new coilovers

Ok. Just installed my new coil overs. Each corner is off by a few 16ths (no more than 1/4") . All preload was measured, but I'm sure it could have been off by a half or whole turn.
I went and measured my car on two level surfaces. Should I mess with the height at each corner to match and then get an alignment or will I need an alignment first to match camber back to spec and then repeat alignment or is that overkill. Car has 11,900 miles on her.

Thanks in advance

Match the ride height first then get an alignment. There's no point in doing two alignments as you're going to throw your specs off when you meddle with the ride height

^agreed. But also if you can stand to let the new coilovers settle before getting the alignment it will help your case. Your ride height will probably drop another 1/8 inch as everything settles (if they are new, out of box coilovers).

Let your coils settle then get an alignment. If you wanted you could also corner balance your car.

^^ Corner Balance is a must, and then alignment. Don't worry about ride height being the same on all four corners. Focus on the balance of weight and then aligned.

my take is get to the ride height specs as per your coilover manufacturer then pick an alignment that suits your track/DD needs.

the recommended ride heights worked for my circumstance hoping they will too for you...

For a dual purpose car, I don't really feel the corner balance is needed. The weight of the car is going to change as you do mods, add fuel (roughly 6 lbs / gal). Get the coils installed, let the springs settle - set the ride height, then get it aligned.
