Alignment question

Default Alignment question

ok guys....... so if i get a alingment for my car can i adjust the ride height after the alignment? or will it mess it up and i have to get another alignment after i adjust my ride height? any help would be great. thanks in advance

I think it would be best to set your ride height and get it aligned. What type of supension do you have? Are you talking about adjusting some coilovers afterwards, or are you talking about changing springs?

Changing the ride height will change the alignment.

yea im running coilovers. so i should adjust the height the way i like it then take it to get an alignment?

Yes, I posted my before and after figures showing alignment w/stock suspension and then what the alignment was after dropping the height with coilovers. I don't remember the exact figures but it added neg camber and threw the toe way out. Especially the rear toe

This sucks as I just put my coilovers on...
I will find a decent ride height and be satisfied with damper adjutment after I get it set right...

toe and caster will change.

this is the catch with coilover, you need to bring the car back on the rack if you change the height.

<--used to have apexi full coil.
