Default Should or shouldn't?

I've just purchased a kit of Tein Lowering Springs for my car,but today I found a set of brand new Koni dampers which are very cheap. Should I replace oem dampers with Koni's ? Would it make any difference or should I just stick with oem ones?

It depends entirely on your plan for the S. The stock suspension is great as it is, so I wouldn't put springs on because they were cheap.

Ok seriously people? Nothing under V3's is any good? And you are basing that on what exactly?

To the OP if you have the springs and the konis are cheap enough that's not a bad set up but I agree some coilovers would be better and more versatile all around. I have Ksports and they are perfectly fine for a street coilover. They will hope up to the occasional track days as well. Now if you regularly track your car I's suggest looking into one of the better coilovers like the Fortune Auto or KW's because you would likely upgrade the Ksports eventually. It all really just depends on your needs and budget.

^Well most/all cheaper coilovers are worse than stock in the handling department. They will lower the car and make it feel tighter etc but will actual hurt performance over all.

If they are a really good deal then I say go ahead and get the konis. Personally, I'd use the springs+konis until you could upgrade to a KW or better coilover. Id skip the step of lower end coilovers all together, not going to feel all that different IMHO. Never tried konis but I have heard good things about them.
