Default spring rate questions

hey guys, i am about to buy the BC Racing coilovers and i see that they offer multiple spring rates. 10k/10k 10k/12k and 12k/12k. is there a big difference between 10k and 12k if i do 10/10 or 12/12? it is my daily driver and i like ripping corners hard and am looking into some track days or auto x in my area soon. how would the ride differ from 10k/10k vs 12k/12k. my current wheel setup is 17x8 17x9 +45.

since it's your DD, I'd go with 10/10. 10/10 is perfectly fine for the occasional autox/trackday.

10/10 or a 9/10. But I would go with a 10/10.

I would go 12/10 if you don't have a big front bar

if you look at the spring rates on this car you definitely want more spring up front
thats what they did with every year except 00-01 and you can realy see with the CR rates

When would you want to go with 10/10 vs 10/12 or even 12/10?

The information in the following thread is much better in my opinion. The spring rates were calculated using common engineering spring formulas, and backed up with physical testing.
