Default stoptech pads

has anyone tryed StopTech High Performance Brake Pads?
Reading in other forums they look to work well, considering even the price.
I think they are a quite new product and I couldn t find any review from s2k owners...

i dont like these pads. from what i hear they are supposed to be axxis ultimate replacements but dont bite nearly as hard and fade faster to me. they do dust a lot less but i could care less about that, all i need is a street pad that stops. i fade them doing canyon runs.

I just ordered a set of Stoptechs and it comes with their pads. However, I told them I had a track day coming up, and they suggested I might want to go to a track pad based on the speeds I was running. So, that says to me that the Stoptech pads are a good street and LIGHT track duty pad.

I used the Ferodo DS2500s on my Evo and absolutely loved them. Great street pad and also a light track pad. They worked fine at Streets of Willow with the air temps in the 60s. The did NOT work at Buttonwillow (more braking) with the air temps in the mid-80s.

I got DS3000s for the S2k for my track day. It'll be my first time using them, so we'll see how it goes.

Im running the ferodo ds2500 too and to be honest, I aspected something more for the price.I don t track my car, apart for a couple of runs at Nurburgring in August ), but even in a spirited drive they didn t surprise me.But for what I need they re ok.
Now I ve order a set of stoptech pads, just to see if they can do the same job with less money, from what I ve heard they should do it,will see...

I did get extremely good wear out of the DS2500s. I'd say more than double the life of the stock pads on the Evo. Stock pads lasted 22k miles with NO track days. I only wore 50% of the DS2500s in 20k miles with 3 track days!
