If it would serve no purpose then why is there one on the rear from the factory? Serious question Im not trying to be a smart ass.

I also think the bar is negligible. But why do some other cars with double wishbones like FD RX-7 and NC MX-5 come with front bracing?

Strut tower bars make 0 difference for double A arm suspension. They make tons of difference for mcphersons though

With a MacPherson strut suspension system where the spring and shock absorber are combined in the one suspension unit, the entire vertical suspension load is transmitted to the top of the vehicle's strut tower, unlike a double wishbone suspension where the spring and shock absorber may share the load separately.

I used to have an ASM 4 point brace, and felt a difference on the track. The front end felt more predictable over mid-corner bumps and the steering communicated more sharply/directly. Unfortunately I had to remove it because of a new intake setup. Some say it makes a difference, some say it doesn't. The best way to know for sure is to try one yourself. I recommend the ASM 4 point or replica of one.

Ah, now 4 point brace, that's a bit different. That should have noticeable effects because it stiffens the entire front end by tying into the fire wall

He's referring to the bar I linked in my previous post, it ties the lower subframe at the steering rack bolts to the shock tower bolts. That bar does make a difference in chassis rigidity.
