Well, I had never seen the kit before but I like the floating rotors. The only issues I see is where to get replacment parts and if you do find them how much will they be.

T1R is a knockoff company. I would buy brakes from a more reputable source.

Like their rear bsk- that thing is exactly the same as the ones on ebay for +/- $100, yet they charge like $200.

I'm sure those who have them say they are great. But T1R sure has been getting a lot of bad publicity lately. It could be their distributor AJR, it could be the company itself - who knows at this point.

Food for thought: the T1R brake kit lists for $2566, and the AP racing kit lists for $2,399. Hmmm....

AJR operates T1R. they are the same. their quality doesn't match their price.

as much as they have been getting bad publicity lately, i would say their products are still pretty good. megan is probably more comparable to an ebay brand, t1r i would say is still a step higher than most ebay brands

they have been around for a few years now and I have rarely seen any problems until now. The items are just getting used more and more miles put on everything but that would go for the same for any brand.

every brand has some issues down the line, every condition is different, every owner uses things different so there is never 2 situations that are the same to compare anything really.

just my opinion though, to each their own
