Default Tein Flex or MonofFlex?

Anyone have any knowledge of the differences? I am having a set of these put on when my inspection happens shortly. There isn't much difference in pricing. From what I'm getting the monflex seems to be more for track use. My car is my daily driver for right now. Any recommendations?

I know the mono flex and monotube and I'm pretty sure the flex is twin tube. I am not too sure about how each really works. I always hear the twin tubes heat up faster and monos can generally stand more track abuse

I have the Monoflex, and I love em. They ride extremely well on the street, and have a very smooth feel to them. You can definitely feel they are stiffer when you hit the larger bumps/dips/uneven pavement, but still much smoother than stock. It soaks up the small bumps and imperfections much better than stock suspension. It feels very comfortable indeed. They also fantastic on the track... They feel like a perfect match to my RE-11's, and could even handle a little bit more tire. Very easy to drive fast on the track...

I've seen a few s2000's with flex's, and from the outside, they do not look as controlled as the mono's...

last tim i checked price difference was just 150$ - so i didn't see a point to consider Flex.
top mounts are different.
also spring rates are different and a bit strange - 10f/12r - i'm no sure why they put stiffer springs at rear.

Monoflex is stiffer than stock but still very good.
when i put mine at 13 (16 is softest) it feels "ok" even at very bad roads at very high speeds.
at decent quality roads they feel really good.

^ I don't get it either.

The stock suspension on the AP1's are stiffer on the rear than the fronts as well. In fact, 25% stiffer on the rears for the 00-01's and 20% stiffer on the rear as opposed to the front on the 02-03 models. Then all the sudden, the AP2's switched it to front's being stiffer than the rear

I just made the upgrade to monoflexes this past weekend from flexes. Another difference is the monoflexes have helper springs in the rear. I went from a 12/10 on my flexes to a 14/12 on my monoflexes. I like it so far but I only have about 20 miles on them so I will wait a few weeks and report back.
