i am on Tein Flex's. i did the install myself with the coils setup to Tein's specs. then i got the car corner balanced at near the same height and got the CR alignment with 255s in the rear.

i am more than happy, it just takes some investment in the form of paying people with fancy equipment (scales and a Hunter rig)

So you have the car set as the same height as stock or CR stock? do you feel that there is a difference to before?

The height is about an inch drop. That is where the tein specs and the corner balance put me. The aligent is the cr spec which I choose because it is aggressive and seemed like the best fit for a 255 rear tire. The stiff springs in the rear definately make it rotate mor easily and cnx out a lot of the under steer.

tire pressure is a cold 34 all the way around on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric. the dampers are at the middle (six clicks?).

there is definitely oversteer, but i like the handling overall. i lean towards oversteer since most of my hard driving is autox and that twitchiness is normally a good thing on the tight course

disclaimer; i am in no way one of the handling gurus like you find in the R&C forum, just trying to help out since i have the same product and model year you were asking about.

I just need the car to handle better than stock otherwise I'll sell the coilovers. A stock 01 camry i was following took a 90 degree corner better than me since i over steered! I cAn't have that! Are u over steering
more than stock? I want the cAr to grip!

dont worry about it too much. you have screwed everything up pretty massively by slamming it. bringing it back to near stock height will sort all the geometry back out and then you can get some benefit from stiffer spring rates and dampers.

That's a relief to hear that! I'm going to drop the tire pressure to what u have as well to see if that helps for the time being. I believe it has around 42 all around at the moment

42 is pretty high and i could see it being skittish, i guess it depends on the tires.

really though, a slammed car is going to handle like crap unless you have serious coin and expertise sorting out all the geometry problems. just put it back where it is supposed to be
