Default Tein SRC adjustment help

Hey guys I need some help adjusting my tein srcs. The person I bought it from didn't include an instruction manual, but from what I've searched, left is soft and right is stiff, correct?

The problem is that there are more than 16 clicks. Do I count from stiff to soft or soft to stiff?

For ex: fully left - 1/16, or fully right - 16/16?

There are 20+ clicks on the knob so it's kind of confusing.

Thanks.

Just double checking, but full stiff is all the way to the right?

Thanks

Ok, just read my manual... and I've been doing it wrong. Looks like you are supposed to count down from full stiff... which is weird because then it goes on to say, "Exceeding level 16 will damage the shock." I guess I always assumed that level 16 was full stiff and not full soft...

I've been doing it wrong for a whole year... However, none of the shocks are damaged and work great. Adjustable dampening is definitely still working...

Just to be sure, compression is on the reservoir and rebound is on the shaft.

Out of curiosity what are you running for compression and rebound? I think it was you who posted up some interesting settings in R&C a while back. If it wasn't you then my bad.

0 clicks is full stiff
16 clicks is full soft

Lol... it was me.

Now I'm rethinking everything I've done with these shocks...

My co-driver and I were running 670 (12k) Rear and 895 (16k) Front for quite awhile.

We have a Gendron hollow 1 and 3/8ths in the front on full stiff and the rear bar was removed. The car seemed really balanced with this setup. We wanted a re-vlave though because were were on full soft rebound dampening in the rear/front, but we were only on 3 clicks (From full soft) Front / Rear for compression.

We came to the conclusion that this car really didn't benefit from the 16k spring rate on all four corners unless you were running R Compounds.

Now... after actually reading my manual. I don't really know what the settings were. Looks like I should have been counting starting all the way clockwise.

Welcome to another year of "Guess and Check"....

That's a bummer, I'm sure you'll eventually get it sorted out.
