Lucid,
Any recommendations for a sub for this setup? Hypothetically speaking, what is the cleanest, most powerful sounding sub that I could fit in this enclosure?

What you've done is more complex w/fiberglass and also deeper. This design is simple. Top contoured to match the bay and a box under it.
Where are you getting the vibration on setup? from the box itself?
I've only tried polk as you see above. I'll drop in some other models to try after the holiday

[B]lucid,
That would be a great price for the enclosure. I just spent that much just for the materials to make my own. I don't even know how many hours I spent thinking and working out all the problems I encountered along the way.

I just completed a similar sub box. I constructed the box of MDF to fit a 10" CDT subwoofer. All the fitment issues were a real pain in the butt so in hindsight I would say a prefab box would be the way to go. Once I finish the install with carpet I will try and post pictures.

There's no vibs but the sill as you mentioned. The box DOES fit a good number of subs out there.
I'm going to have them made in centered and offset - for an amp mount ontop. I'll put on an option to for an amp (that fits on top for the offset) and for box compatible subs.
The way it looks to go is to put carpet on the top you see, damping on the bottom and go with 1/2" MDF for the sides and bottom with 3/4-1" for the top. A sub box should be min. 3/4" but lining the 1/2" with resin will give extra airspace seal it very well, strengthen it and lower the weight.
