hey guys, as the title states, will a 6 disc changer form an 06 work in an 04?

if anyone has any experience with this that would be great. As a side note, i really only need everything to plug in and function but i do want it to be "plug and play" with all factory parts. i plan on doing a custom mount for the changer in the trunk on the top to save a little room. or maybe even a little something special

 

this is not definitive, but H & A's site sells one changer for '00-'03,
and another one for '04-'09, so I would guess you're ok. I will
note that they list it as an 8-disc changer

 

i actually havent seen anyone that lists the 6 disc changer at all in fact....this is getting odd

 

i still didn't get to install my 8-disc cd changer... since i bought ipod interface... changer is still in the box... catching dust...

anyways.. why don't u plug and test the cd changer?

 

cause i need to buy it from the guy first. rather not buy it if it wont work

As long as you are putting it on a radio of the same year then yes it will work. I'm not certain but I think all the radio plugs are the same on the ap2 radios.
