2004 S2k Factory Xm
When I was buying the car last Saturday, the dealer didn't have a clue about the factory Xm unit in the 04 S2K's. The parts guy thought it needed a new head unit from honda, but that didn't sound right to me. I thought it was plug and play with a connector in the trunk? Does anyone here have it? How much was it? Where is the best place to buy it, and what does it consit of?
Thanks in advance!

you do not need a new head unit for the 04s
they did run the wires from the FACTORY head unit to the trunk. all you need o do is buy the oem x/m unit (best price www.hardtopguy.com) and either the oem antenna or a diffent antenna and you're good to go!!!

ahhh more questions
it is plug and play (well plug, mount the x/m - very easy, mount the antenna somewhat easy, and subscribe)
again the unit cost me about $280.00 for the xm and i think they wanted another $100.00 for the oem antenna - i went with a blitz micro for 50.00
it works great
