2006 S2000
I am an audio noob (still got my oem system lol) so here's probably a real basic question: the 06 rollbar speakers ... are they in stereo? If so, it seems (at least to a noob like me) that having stereo sound directly behind the ears of both passengers would be pretty nice, as compared to only having a left or right channel behind each seat? (granted, they're not going to be the same quality as aftermarket speakers)
your thoughts?
your thoughts?
There are 4 rollbar speakers, a right and left one for both the driver and passenger, so yes, you get stereo sound. Not the best quality, but they do help when you have the top down and are driving fast on the freeway.

I may be an S noob with my 05, but I ain't no audiophile-wannabe snob like yourself, Pal.
Yes, I think the stock stereo system sounds fantastic. Rears speakers would be nice to have, and I'm pretty damn sure those stock rollbar speakers in the 06 are perfectly fine even with the top down "cruis'n down the freeway".
This is Honda we own, and most like myself for the same damn good reason that is for the finest practical automotive engineering. If you're so concerned with the audio quality of the car, you should trade-in yoru S for a quiet and floaty Cadillac with a stock Bose 10 speaker system.

I called it!!!
Not that I have the roll bar speakers, but isn't every body have their own opinion on things. Some people say that they suck, the other like them. Not everybody is obsessed with having the best audio out there. Saying that one is better than the other is stupid, whats best to one might not be to the other. It just like saying that one pizza is better than the other. Personal preference. However, I do believe that there is better, but who gives a rats ass, it's up to our own opinions.
