So are you saying purchase an OEM headunit that has the CD-C option?

Can anyone verify if they have done this before? If I purchase a stock headunit with the CD-C option will it work in my '06? and will I be able to use this PIEAUX ordeal and have an ipod hook, right? Also will the controls on the left of my steering wheel still work? Thanks

Just mount the compact interface box in a hidden location in your vehicle, and connect the included adapter cable to the CD changer input on your compatible 2003-up Honda/Acura factory radio. Plug your iPod into the interface and you can control and charge your iPod while you drive.[B]

I only have the XM options. No CD-C option.[B]

I'm going to update this thread just so in case someone else in the future could use this valuable information.

If you go to http://www.logjamelectronics.com/sounsnhond3.html this converter will work from the XM port in the back of the stock headunit and will have 2 female RCA inputs which will then you need a stereo RCA male to 3.5mm male (single plug) to plug into the top of your ipod.

I was thinking of picking this up. It charges the ipod as well.

I had one for my TSX and it worked really well.

Good call BDI!

I'm gonna cancel my SNHOND3 order and get this one!

So I guess either one works but this one charges!
