Default Adding a 12V outlet

The in-cabin factory 12V outlet isn't in the most useful place. I'm working on getting a mount for my GPS unit and maybe the cell phone and am thinking that it might be useful to have a 12V outlet on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel.

Has anyone done this? How difficult is the install for this? Is there room for double or triple outlets?

Somewhere there's a photo I used that pointed out which dimple you can use to start drilling versus measuring. I'll post a link if I run across it again.

EDIT: Here it is (again search is your friend):

Note that on an AP2 this places the outlet very close to the pockets. If you want some room you may want to shift it a bit to the left.
