Default aftermarket head unit steering wheel control interfaces

Looking to retain steering wheel controls with a new stereo. Anyone know the difference between the PAC SWI-RC interface and the Metra ASWC-1 that goes for $20+ more?

I'm looking to use it for a Joying Android head unit.

The PAC needs to be manually programmed with dipswitches and it's a pain, the ASWC1 automatically programs and has an LED on it to make it even easier. Certain light flashes for certain program settings. I think the ASWC is worth the extra $20.
