Default Aftermarket HU/CD Changer Compatability?

I just installed the JVC KD-SX980 receiver/head unit. I have decided that I want to add a CD changer. JVC only makes a 12 disk CD changer which obviously would work with the JVC receiver. I think this changer might be too big for the locations where I am considering mounting it.

Are there other CD changers that are directly compatible with this JVC receiver? It appears that the Sony DIN cable is the same as the JVC....does this also mean that the Sony changers are compatible? Is there some kind of guide that has this info?

Thanks for any help

I kind of figured that...false hope. Thanks for the Crutchfield suggestion.

I would like to mount under my drivers seat as first choice, secret storage area as second choice and trunk as third choice.
