Default Aftermarket HU/Radio Control

Hi Everyone,
I want to change MY05 stock HU to Clarion DXZ855MP but will I loose the control feature left of the steering wheel? If so is there anything I can do to connect the control function back to the Clarion HU or any other aftermarket HU? Thanks for all your help in advance.

The dash controls only work with the stock HU unless you add an interface.

Check out the DCI at www.modifry.com. I don't know if it will work with a Clarion, but it will work with several Alpines, Sonys and Pioneers. Leave an email on the site and I'm sure they will tell you if the Clarion will hook up.

The Modifry DCI does handle Clarion but of course, your head unit has to be capable of using an infrared remote (if it comes with one it is a pretty safe bet). Like they said, check with Modify at http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/
You will want to be looking at IR DCI's
