Default Aftermarket tweeter wiring

Hi guys, I don't know how to structure my questions so I'm gonna use points...

my use of technical names might not be precise, so feel free to correct or question.

1. Factory tweeters aren't wired from woofer, does facotry tweeter get fed full spectrum then filtered by the capacitor? Or factory HU has a built-in crossover?
2. Do facotry woofers get full spectrum audio?
3. I have an Alpine HU currently installed with Modifry harness, which has built-in crossover, does this change the signal fed to factory tweeters/woofers?

Ultimate question:
My newly arrived Alpine RS65C.2 has in-line crossover supplied for the tweeter only, and I can see the crossovers suppose to connect to the woofer, since there are 2 sets of terminals available on the woofer.

If I connect them like it's designed for, this would mean the factory tweeter connector becomes obsolete, what did you do about it?

Thank you in advance.

The factory wiring has wires from the headunit going to the woofer, and then wires from the woofer
passing through a filter capacitor to the tweeter, so:
- the woofer gets a full range signal
- the tweeter gets a filtered signal
- the headunit has no crossover, and even if it did it wouldn't be able to send separate signals to
the woofer and tweeter.

To wire your aftermarket tweeters, it will be easiest to run a new wire from your woofer through the
Alpine filter to the new tweeter. You can just leave the disconnected OEM tweeter wire in place if you like.
Finally, there is no way to use the Alpine headunit's crossover without running additional wires into the
door directly to the tweeters.
