Default Airbag light On

Hey guys so I just bought a 2005 s2k and the airbag light is always on. The previous owner said he had a security system in the car and when his shop installed it they tapped into the airbag wiring. Can I fix this? If so how would I go about doing it.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

No shop would or should EVER tap into air bag wiring. More than likely the car has either been in a crash and the crash sensors need to be replaced or something else is wrong like the SRS module or seatbelt tensioners. You need to go to a shop somewhere and have your car scanned to see what codes are stored in the SRS module. That will point you in a direction.
