hey guys, i just recently installed the alpine 9884 and i can't seem to get my ipod to work through the AUX port using some belkin 3.5 rca wire. i want to be able to view movies on the ipod and hear the sound through the speakers. can anyone with this deck tell me what i'm doing wrong???

 

your using the extra AUX input peice correct?? - if so you have to turn the AUX input on in the deck.... now, if your plugging the 1/8th'' mini into the back of the headunit your doing somethign wrong, that slot if for a wired steering wheel contorl :-)

Don't think Best Buy carries it any more. Maybe you will get lucky but when I checked they discontinued carrying it.

 

i thought the 9884 come with the ipod connector.... i am looking forward to buy the 9884 too....

Wow, I had them look it up in their system and they had it in the system and it showed no stock and was marked "discontinued". Maybe your store just had some left.
