Who did the modification, you or Pass2k?

Are there plans available for the additional mods?
it was all me baby. i just added a bit of mdf here and there, shapedit, sanded it, glued it together and recarpeted the whole thing.

The key was cutting the hump out of the spare cover. i lined it with a home depot rubber hose i split with a knife. looks good imo.
That is ridiculously clean. How is it secured? Kinda wanna steal this for my system lol

I had to pm him when I purchased mine a while back. He got back to me pretty quick and I had mine in no time. Highly recommend the amp rack, fits like a glove.

A good place for amps is in the tool area in the trunk. Take out the foam molding which held the tools and then cut plywood to the shape of that area so that the plywood lays on the lips on each side of where the foam tray was fitted. This will give you enough space underneath for the amps. Then mount your amps on the bottom side of the plywood. My amps are Alpine class D units and have NEVER shutoff due to heat and I live in TX. Put your tools in the spare tire center space and bam your done. You cant see the amps and you loose zero space in the trunk. I pulled my hair out trying to think of where to put my amps until I came up with this solution. You have to have quality amps so they wont get hot which to me was worth it since you want clean power for clean sound anyway.
