Unhappy Any one have one of this?

I would like to know if anyone has this unit. I would love to get it but I don't think I would be able to install it in the S2000. ANyone has any ideas?

Only way to get it to fit would be to cut out a custom 1 din install port in the dash. It won't fit in the stock mounting location.

Those things are cool. I was going to get one for my STi but the STi didn't last long enough.
Stupid tree.

Check out this Avic-N1 mediaplayer skin. It's sort of an interactive demo of the unit.

I looked at the AVIC for a coworker but my installer pointed me to the new 2454 by Eclipse. Have you guys seen this one? It beats the other systems hands down. It's got an integrated touch screen and two disc slots so you don't have to eject your Nav DVD to play a CD (why hasn't anyone else thought of that?).

That's a really good idea BTW. I still like the AVIC better because of the vehicle dynamics and it just looks better. Swapping the DVD out is kind of a pain but you don't loose navi when you take the DVD out - it keeps your current map loaded in memory.

Looks like a double din bay, you'd need to custom fab the dash again to get it.
