Any way to remove CD from disconnected AP1 stereo?
I swapped out my HU on my S2000 for an aftermarket but forgot I left a CD in there
. Is there any way to manually remove it, without having to rip out my new head unit and hook my old one back up?

You could use an alternate 12V source.
Here's the headunit pinout (from the UK technical FAQ):

You should only need ground (-12v) and what appears to be labeled +B (+12v) as
I believe the CD can be ejected with the key out. If not, also supply +12v to Acc

wow... YES... Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative.. should power up and then you eject cd..
you may need to use jumper wires to make connections, you might get by with merely touching an holding two wires in position..
I changed out my head-unit recently one jvc unit for another so there were no cable changes.. an I forgot frank zappa in the old unit.. easy as pie to take it over to a work bench two wires clip on and eject cd.. you shouldn't have any problem...

You got a desktop computer power supply laying around? Those have a 12v power source. That's what I use sometimes when I do random electrical tests lol.
And yes, you can also use a car battery, just be careful!

Used an old computer power supply (12 volt battery would work just fine - just be careful not to short anything!).
You don't need to use the switched lead - just the ground and +B and hit the eject and voila!
Thanks for all the help
