Default Anyone have XM?

Does anyone have XM in their S2000? I have a roady2 receiver that I am thinking of mounting, but don't want it too obtrusive. Anyone have picks of an install?

What are my other options to get XM in the car? I will probably do a dash modification for a double din screen in the near future. Does this open any more options?

Ok so would rather replace your HU with one that also has XM built into it (I recommend this option) or would you rather keep your stock HU and add-on a stand alone XM unit?

I already have a stand alone XM 'roady2". I wanted to use this for a month or so unitl I can plan out the whole system. I don't want to just plug it into cig lighter and have all the wires everywhere. Prob do some type of install for the time being. I was hoping someone had installed one of these units.

Any recomendations on aftermarked HUs with XM? Seems only Alpine has it built in. The others required an add-on tuner and/or reciever.

You could custom mount that into the radio door or into the sun visor. But it just depends how crazy you want to go. If this is only a temporary setup I would just put it in the glove box.

The alpine setup still needs a reciever box that the ant. plugs into.

if you're keeping the roady2 you may want to consider a goose-swivel type mount (look on ebay) and a PIE direct connect adapter into the CD changer port for a clean connection....

yes the cda-9820 by alpine is the only unit that has the xm unit already built in - nothing extra is needed but an antenna
