Default Anyone using Modifry DCI for aftermarket CD player

I am currently want to put my JVC CD/MP3 player on my S2k.
I have been visited some local videoshop, They only have SWI inorder to use the bottoms on central dash. But the disadvantage of using SWI will result several sec time delay....Just saw there was modifry DCI via this website. Seems like it will solve my problem rit away.

So i am wondering to order one on web. Before I am going to, I just want to get some feedback from u guys who has the experiance of using their products.
1. is that easy to install?
2. during ur time of using, is there any time delay issued? or sometimes the machine missing to read the singnal from sending ( when you touch the central dash bottom , then no reaction)

Thx, I am really want to hear anything about it from u guys.

Excellent product. Easy to install (if you can install a head unit, then you can install the DCI, simple as that.) and there is no delay.

had mine for years -- no problems, no lag. get one.

(honestly, i think it is the singularly most popular Dash Control Interface used by EJ's)

Have one of the first. Awesome product. Love the extra functionality and speed dependent volume control.

haha, seems like you are so confuse about chaning channel....you can change the folder by touching the bottom of ur headunit budy!!

anyway, does the DCI doesn't come with control unit for changing MP3 folders? If not,,, then it's really annoying ........

Keep in mind the DCI doesn't know squat about your head unit. It works like the original dash controls in that it can change Mode (generally Source) and Channel (track, radio preset or whatever you headunit supports). Modifry then added additional functionality using Mode + Up/Down and Channel + Up/Down. If these controls correspond with the necessary controls on your headunit then great. If not, then you're out of luck.

Bear in mind the newer (last 10 months?) DCI's have an option to do the most-used "combination" commands (next track/folder or next preset/seek) with a single button tap, so in most cases it's not necessary to do the double-button thing.

And AUS2000 makes a good point - the DCI (or any product like it) can only do functions that the HU remote can do.
