Default Anyone with the WLAURENT sub enclosure?

I am seriously considering getting one of his sub enclosures that are sold in the S2KI store. I can only fit one because my nitrous bottle is on the other side. My question is, if someone has heard it, how is it? I am not looking to win SPL contests with it, but I do want to know if it adds a decent ammount of low end to make up for where my 6.5s and 5.25s leave off. I am also adding Bass shakers so I am not worried about the vibration factor, just some decent low end sound. Thanks

Jeff

I have 2 in my car. I went with the square Kicker Solobarics. I had 1 12" in my car before. The 12, obviously, sounded a lot deeper than the 8's, but the bass isn't bad at all. For me, it's just enough, and I don't drive around blasting the sub's. I like the fact that I can remove the enclosures very easily if I need the extra trunk space. The enclosures are also VERY light. I was very surprised on just how light they were when I received them.

HondaS2K8888 - Do you have the L5's or the L7's? How much power do you have running to each?

I have one on the drivers side. I think it adds just enough bass. I don't want the paint rattled off my car, but I like deep lows.

I just recently purchased a pair of his enclosures, and mounted JL 8W3's in them. Powered by my JL 500/5 , they sound great, and are very easy to move around if necessary. Better output than the single 10" I had in my last car, to be sure. Not sure how well they will play low, boomy bass, but they punch very well. (I know - very technical terminology ) I have yet to play any of my hip hop records, So we'll see, but Zwan, Tool, and Coltrane love to be played thru them.

It is the RF HX2 and I'm driving it with 250 watts from a JL 500/5. I also might be adding an additional sub on the other side of the car with the same driver.
