Hey

I just got an 03 AP1 S2K with an AP2 centre console, from 06+ i'm assuming since it has the demister/defogger already in the centre console. Only one problem, it hasn't been wired up because the plugs look completely different.

Could anyone shed some light on how this could be done? I have included two pics of the plug and 1 of the button.

Ok i have wiring diagrams. Basically i figured out how to wire up the new switch, modifying the indicator light into the switch circuit, but i have a question if anyone can help?

why is there a pair of diodes in the original switch in parallel with the switch part of the circuit? What does it do?

Yeah, i would love to know too. Does anyone have the circuit diagram for the 06+ switch?

I have 02-03 but i also need the 06-09 for the console button diagram.

This is the diagram for the 2003/2003 models, it shows the circuit i have to work with.


I just need the circuit diagram for the 06+ cars to see how their switch works and maybe i can figure out which wires to connect where to get it to work.

No one has the 06+ AP2 Service manual or wiring diagrams for us?

 

Just an update on this one. It looks like a member from the Greek community has finally fixed this and it works. The following topic is in Greek language, however the original poster will prepare the English version of this DIY and he will share it with us.

I have an 01 retrofitted with an 03 top and an 06 center console.

Do any of these wiring diagrams help me recreate the entire wiring circuit from the switch to the top?

 

I so wish that was in English, is there any update on an english version of this?
