I don't know about your fit but the AP2 cluster does actually go up to 9k (if you decide to take it there.) I also got you a picture for reference.

It may have a 9 on the tach, but it just starts blinking once you hit 8, it doesnt keep sweeping up to 9......

Is that the gauge cluster or the computer that tells it to blink?

dont waste your time shifting to ap2 instrument panel......whats a ap2 instrument panel worth anyway?

As others have said it will start blinking red at just over 8,000 rpm. If you dont mind it flashing red all the time then ok, but i think there are better areas where the money could be spent, unless your existing instrument cluster is broken??

My instrument cluster is missing one of the rpm readouts, its actually the first one on the meter. Its obiviously blown and the rest of the rpm meter works, just that first one never lights up again.

I want to know the answer to this question as well. How much will the cluster set you back if you decide to purchase?
Not even 100 bux.I hear the miles stay with the cluster too.So lets say I take my 43k miles AP1 cluster off and I put in the AP2.I can drive X amount of miles, then switch back to my AP1 and I will be were I left off at 43k??I guess thats good if I would wanna trade in the car later.Hold the value.Sneaky move tho

Sneaky and illegal...
I do agree with you-the AP2 cluster does look cleaner and less busy.

the harness connectors are diffrent. AP1 has 4 connectors and AP2 has 2 connectors. you need to hard wire...not an easy job.
