Hey there guys, first of all, I've followed the thread for ap2 taillight conversion using the ap1 sockets and bulbs with minor modifications. Unfortunately, I noticed that no matter if my lights are connected and blinking, the car still blinks rapidly as if there were no bulb in the socket. However, the emergency lights blinks at normal speed. Has anyone experienced and solved this problem? I was messing around with the connections to see what I could've done wrong but after the fuse popped, I knew I was getting nowhere. Sorry, not savvy with electrical things. Please assist?

Should I go ahead and just buy the real ap2 socket and bulb and rewire some things?
