I'm about to put a pioneer radio in my ap2 and I'm worried I won't be able to use my audio controls next to the steering wheel. Does anyone have any info on this ??

 

Modifry sells an adapter for it, otherwise without it, it will not work.

 

 

actually im pretty sure pioneer is the only company that will work with the audio controls next to the steering wheel.... I might be wrong on the brand but my friend has an aftermarket head unit in his ap1 and his audio controls work, he bought everything at bestbuy and they installed it for him.

 

I have an alpine and they do not make a harness for the audio controls it sucks a little but you get used to it...

 

I haven't seen a HU that will work with the audio controls

Modifry is the only person making compatibility controls for it, I would check the HU model # on his website and see if he makes a control unit for it.

 

Get the modifry DCI and his wiring harness and it will be a snap. works well.

 

modifry's Alpine DCI (dash control interphase) is the shits! I love it.
