Default Aux input alternative? Switchblade key?

Hey, it's been a while since I looked into these two things.

For my 1999 CRV I have an aftermarket aux input set up seen here (not my post just followed the steps):

I also remember a while back members were trying different switchblade key options that were unreliable. Did a good alternative ever surface?

Thanks

Either an aftermarket headunit, or a USASpec iPod Adapter (also has RCA input for an 'AUX' cable)

I've had a USASpec device in nearly all my vehicles and it works great.

I remember seeing those switchblade key options too but can't recall any ones that I thought looked not-cheap.

Get a new head unit. The stock one is trash. Get aftermarket, DCI to save controls and route the ipod connector in the secret compartment.

Bluetooth head units are brilliant! Now I have one I will never go back, and invariably they also have an aux and USB input in case you have an iPod.
