Best Component 6.5" for HU
I recommend the Polk dB6500 or 6501. They are very efficient (92dB) and sound great with low power. I have mine hooked to the stock system and they sound fine. Very easy to install as well- fits in stock locations.
I have the Boston Acustic S60, they also have a sensitivity of 92. Should i just go with these or look for another component set? The woofer just looks cheap but on the other hand its a BA product wich should be good

Just more interested in having a nice mid bass because im not doing the sub woofer.
thx

Focal Access Line 165's. Best for the buck off of straight deck power.
Boston all the way. Focal sounds nice, but I had some bad experiences with warpage from heat in Florida.... I am running all boston now, Pro 60's in the doors. Might not be the most bass you'll ever get from six, but sounds great none the less. Heard many with Alpine Type R's on deck power, I was pretty amazed at the bass from those puppies... and cheap to boot.
thank guys/girls
Yeah from what i read on the BA s60, the review were great on how clear they were and how natural they sound. But all said that they produce almost no mid bass
Any other recomendations that have nice kick to em
Read up on those Alpine Type R's and they have a sensitivty of 87db and the woofer looks sweeeet
------------
I aslo bought(havent installed yet) the Kenwood KFC-X1300 5.25" for the rear. They have a senstivity of 91 db and heard for such a small speaker they have a NICE oomph and sound clarity

Shop for price and fit among those mentioned. All major audio brands so I'm assuming no huge differences within the same price range. If you feel you need more bass, you can always add a small sub.
Speakers are one of those commodities that are price conscious. To get better you must pay more. Cost to benefit is in the mind of the beholder though and is something to keep in your thoughts as you decide how much you want to spend.
I just replaced my OEM's with the Polk DB6500's. Fit perfect with no mods and sound very good.
If I were to ever upgrade, I'd spend more money and get better speakers but I also think most will be happy within this price range.
