Best Head Unit?
Yeah I will probably run the mini alpine amp too and look at upgrading the speakers somewhere down the line. But for now I just want to do the head unit and buy the bits I need that will be compatible with the future upgrades.
Just so you know there are other alternatives to the Modifry DCI that are much cheaper and easier to get in the UK, search for Autoleads PC99-X61.
Nothing against Modifry though he has some great and unique products.

Thanks for that. Will it work just as easily and plug and play like the Modifry stuff with the same functionality?
£31 for both parts, that's great! Thanks mate. Do you have an amp in your setup? I'm looking to buy the alpine KT-445A and bridge it for extra volume. That shouldn't have anything to do with the wiring harness and DCI for the HU right?
Right I've bought the Alpine HU, I've ordered the required harness etc. I'll be buying this amp alpine KT-445A which when bridged, it will be 90w per channel.
Now I need to find a good set of component speakers that will fit in the car and work with the above mentioned kit.
The Polk DB 6502 are reccomended on other threads but they are only available in the US. Can someone reccomend me something for the UK Market. Budget £100 (£150 if I had to push for something significantly better).
Need a pair of speakers that will allow the amp to be bridged and also have a pair of tweeters so I can upgrade the factory ones too. Should be able to have 90w rms.
Thanks in advance!
