But anywho it always comes down to an argument between the Valentine One and the Passport 8500.


EDIT: Beat me to it. I'm an 8500 supporter as well.

 

I also have a PassPort X50 and I love it. Works great. You can't go wrong with valentine 1 either.

 

To those with a V1, how far along is the cop before your radar alerts you? I have the most up to date version and it just screams just seconds before I see the police car, not something I was expecting when I spent $405 on a radar.

We just had this discussion last week.

 

Mine works very far away - I usually have plenty of time to slow down, unless the cop is sitting behind something that is obstructing the detector's view.

It could be that the cops you're coming across are using instant on.
