I need to get some new speakers for my car and I dont know wich ones to get I'm leaning towards Infinity kappa perfects but are there some that are better for the price?

 

i just put my alpine typr r components.... im speechless they worked better then i expected, i would say to get the same brand as your deck. From what i heard it sounds better. who knwoz if thats rtue but yea i bought my components for 130 because a friend work at best buy and he got 50% employee discount. so yea its up to you man

 

Not to rain on your parade krazyguy316 (fitting name) but do you really think the HU "knows" what speakers you have attached to them I doubt it...

What kind of sound do you like? And what type of music do you listen to the most of? and What speakers have you heard yourself in a car or store?(what did you like or dislike about them?)

Answer those questions and we'll be able to give you some good advice. You should also read the FAQ section.

 

There is no "best" speaker for $200, especially Infinity Perfects. They generally retail for about twice that. Infinity's Kappa series, on the other hand, can be found online for around $200. Besides, it's all about what makes your music sound best to you.

I've never heard Perfects, but I have listened to a couple of sets of Kappa components that were very, very nice but I found the highs just a little harsh for my ears. Personally, I prefer Infinity's Reference series. They're a lot less expensive, and I just prefer the sound of silk tweeters. A lot of the music I listen to has acoustic guitars in it, and ! always thought the Reference components rendered acoustic music very nicely. That's just me, and just goes to show you it's all in the ear of the beholder.

Oh, and darkknight is on the money (as usual). Your audio equipment doesn't care about brand names. And I'm just assuming you're referring to component speakers. I would never spend that much on coaxial speakers

I listen to a lot of rap but some fall out boy and bands like that I had pioneers in my last car but they werent components I think its between infinity kappas and alpine type r. or if you guys have any other suggestions I would like to know.

 

Both of those speakers are nice. However they both have completely different sounds Have you had a chance to listen to them in person yet? I honestly like them both myself so I'm not knocking you for it just putting that out there as well. Both of them preform well.

Infinity Perfects 6.1 I'm very happy with mine. Bot them new from retailer on eBay a year ago for 220 shipped. I see they're about 236 shipped now. Good luck in your selecting your speakers.

there aer others, but i usually pic one of those for my peeps who want sub 200 dollars on front speakers
