Thumbs up Best subwoofer for $150 or less?

Well I think my Infinity Kappa 10" sub died on me. So looking for a new one. Was gonna get one from bestbuy or something but tons cheaper for the same things online on ebay and crutchfield etc.
So for around $100-150 what would be the best to go for nice crisp bass and no lag really.
I have a small amp powering it. A van gogh soundstream 4 channel. 2 channels bridged to the sub.
And then I have Infinity Kappa component 6.5's in the doors.

Any suggestions? I don't want to pay more than that. People told me the Infinity Kappa one I had sucked but sounded perfectly good to me so I don't need any super high end stuff at all.

Ok cool. What would be the reason to go with that one over the Alpine or a JL sub or anything? Just personal preference?

is that one only 200 watts? Probably enough since my amp doesn't have tons of wattage.

Seen that one on ebay I think for lik e$69.99

I would personaly recommend the JLAudio W3 or the Alpine TypeR.
Too bad the W6 is not within your price range, and you'll need like 500watts to power it. You'll also get more speaker for the money with the TypeR. Yea, it's the 1043D. I have the older generation BostonAcoustic Pro series 12Pro5 and I love it. I think that the new 6th gen is not as good. So, I will go back to the Alpine or JLAudio.

Sorry I was out. The decision is yours, but the Boston woofer will sound nicer than the Alpine. I would not hesitate to buy any JL product either though. I have installed W3's with great results in the past.

Let the budget decide, and without a monster amp and power conditioning set-up you wont notice any sharpness the Boston might have.
