Default Best Value Front Speakers?

I am going to replace my headunit next and am thinking about upgrading my front speakers. I am not an audiophile but do enjoy quality sound. Now, bottom of the line......what speakers provide the best bang for the buck? And why?

No amp.....Infinitys (reference I believe)

Amp, *runs and hides* Infinity perfects 214-218 bucks.

www.etronics.com
www.hookedontronics.com

both sites certified by me. I have nothing but praise for hookedontronics though.

heheh...

i see that you and i need to take a ride....

i would agree -- Infinity Reference 6500cs components. also, i'd throw in Polk's db 6500 components, and if you can afford them the Focal Access or Polyglass 165 series components.

i was just joking around and didn't intend offense.

If your serious about you stereo, speakers are the last place to cut costs. Cut some $$$ out of your hu or amp and put them into your speakers. They are the only part of your stereo that is actually converting electrons to sound....
