broken clear side marker

man....those metal clips on the cheapo clear side markers are soooooooo weak!
broke into 2 pieces after just a little bending...

does anyone know where could i find the exact same metal clips?...home depot?

Same thing happened here (see my webpage)...I ended up using caulk.

non-clears are a hair over 5 bucks a pop from Trevor/TAllen at Handa-Accessories, but the clears - ugh, I hope MacGyver's solution works for you.
