Default Budget Door Speakers

What are some decent speakers I can get for my doors? I plan on running this off of my Alpine iDA-X001. I'd like to stay away from running a seperate amp if possible. Let me know!

Get the Alpine Type S Coaxial. It has good highs, not much bass, but is sensitive @92db - enough to run without an amp, and cost effective (~$150). I picked that after auditioning many comparable coaxials and had that running off a HU in a civic and they sound fine. That'd be a good basic upgrade and would sound better than any component sets running off of a HU in that price range.

The Kenwood Excelon Coaxial sounded great too, better in bass, not as good high than the Alpine. I had that running off my HU in the S years ago as my first upgrade. It sounded better than my amp+comp upgrade until I tuned the amp+comp right.

If you want good bass, it will be a different story and costly, at least $400 (more like $700+) I'd say with amp, sub, wiring, deadening, enclosure, etc.

I'm running Polk DB650 6.5" co-ax. They sound great and can be had for cheap.

I forgot to add that I have a 12" Elemental Designs 13Ov.2 subwoofer in the trunk pushed by 350 watts. So bass is not a problem for me. I'm just looking for a big improvement from stock.

In the event I'd like to add an amp, what's a decent one I could run?

Go to bestbuy, circuit city or alike and listen to them. Pick one you like and order online.
