Default Burning mp3 CD

Hey guys-

Just installed Alpine 9851 HU that has mp3 capability. Does anyone know of a good burning program (from somewhere like www.download.com) that will allow you to burn an audio mp3 CD? I have ROXIO now, and it will only burn regular CD's and mp3 DATA discs (which my player will not read). I am looking for a program that can burn mp3 audio CD's that can be played on this HU. I prefer freeware (as it is free )

You can download itunes for free, and it should do it. At least on an Apple, there is a burning preferences setting for this.

You might want to post this in the Electronics forum.

I use iTunes. It does what I need it to do, but I have an iPod now so I don't burn as much anymore.

I have tried iTunes, but it always seems to create mp3 "DATA" style discs that will not play on my deck. I guess I will just have to use the "help" function.

use windows. drag and drop the files to the cd and burn it.

if the cd player is mp3 capable then it should read the files in their native format directly off the disc.

just keep the number of sub-folders to a minimum as this will cause the player to take longer to read the disc.

If you have windows XP, put an empty cd in the tray, then open our drive, paste your mp3s in the folder of the drive, and select burn. It will do it for you
