Default Buying a head unit

I just bought a beater, finally. A 2004 Civic coupe...only thing that's really bothering me about the car is that it has no auxilary option to just run a wire to my iPhone. Anyway, I was considering buying the Alpine CDE 100 head unit...there's nothing special about it but as this is my beater I don't think I'll upgrade the audio and I can get it for $70 shipped brand new. Is this alright for a normal head unit? I can't imagine that the power is that great, but once again I don't really think I'll need much.

RMS Wattage is 50x4 which is 50Watts per channel (Speaker). This is the standard and is good power. You should be fine with that.

RMS is the real watt value. Some headunits advertise as 50x4 peak but RMS 18x4 or similar to that which I would personally avoid.
