Default Camera mount

I just bought a camera mount. I saw the current one on Ricks site, I think I have the original version, not that one or maybe its the same thing, Im not sure.

How do I mount a digital camera on it? I know that there is the hole on the bottom of the camera for a tripod, should I just go out and get a screw from Home Depot?

Any ideas would help, preferably pics to.

They sell a mount that you use to mount your camera to a tri-pod. You can use this type of camera mount. and then you just mount the top section of a tripod onto the S2000 mount.
But you'll need one of these to mount like this:

Yea Ive seen the tripod mount before, but do I just buy the tripod and take the mount off? Also how does that part pictured mount to the windscreen mount?

PM me and I'll send you one. I happen to have an extra plastic one in my desk drawer

The top tripod mount is what mounts to the widescreen. The piece in the pictures mounts to the bottom of the camera and then it clips into the tripod mount. That mount is a quick release type mount, which allows you to remove the camera quickly and easily.

Im sorry, but still a bit confused about how it attaches to the wind screen camera mount itself. The camera mount has just 3 holes drilled through it. Which part goes through the holes?

It goes a little something like this:

I got them from Wolf Camera. They came with the plates DarkNight was showing you. Works great.
