Because it looks nice. If cops want your plates there going to get them. Think about it; how manny times have you run from the cops so they done get your plates. What do you have to hide? If your speeding there not looking for your plates first, there going to chase you then write the # down on the ticket.

For anyone else wanted to try this here is a cheap place to order some LED light.

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/sto...61.1359&next=50

I would go with the 9 LED one.

I got these http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=140 for the S2K and got PIAAs for the Fit. Not as bright as the Lexus but brighter white than stock. I like em.

Once I get them in, I will snap some pics.

I saw an IS tonight, they have the same lights, but the effect for some reason is not as pronounced as it is on the GS'.

Hopefully my bulb comes in this week!

Ok I got my bulb and put it in.

The effect is there, but not as pronounced as a lexus, as the lexus vehicles use two bulbs.

To get the bulb in, basically you have to take the clear cover off, just insert a small flat head on either side and pull in towards the center and the cover will come off, then just take the old bulb out and put the new one in.

Let me go take a picture, I will have it up in about 15 minutes.
