Default CDA-9855 Price too low?

I found this using Froogle. Price seems too low @ $369. Crutchfield is $449. Anyone have experience with this 5 star Yahoo merchant? Any thoughts? I'm tempted as Amex is great protection from fraud.

If anyone is motivated to make the purchase, please share your experience!!!

Hmm the 9833 sells for about 320 at the same site, and thats not even a good price for it, so i dont know. I have amex gold rewards card, but i never used it, how does it pretect you from fraud?

Crutchfield items are all overpriced. You can always get a better deal from shopping.com or pricegrabber.com

cda-9855 isn't as expensive as some may think. The 9835 still sells for as much as the new one does. I buy all my stereo stuff as cheap as i can find them on the net, and its no different than buying it from some high class company. With my luck anyway.

But Alpine will honor the warranty if purchased from an authorized dealer. My 9813 was acting up, I called Crutchfield and they shipped a new unit. No problems.

I guess if I paid less at an unauthorized dealer I may have saved money but in this case I might have also been stuck if they didn't stand behind the product.
