Simply put, my car charge works but the whole unit literally comes out of the socket.
the connection works and everything, but its kinda stupid to have the whole charge thing come out of the socket.

I usually charge my Incredible on there since i use it as my BT media device, and being quite tall, sometimes my elbow hits the charger.

it will not fit back into the socket, and theres a similarly shaped metal piece thats further in the car.

what can i do? its embarrassing when i go over a bump or something and then the charge socket just bumps out T_T

 

There's a good DIY somewhere that explains how to get to the retainer from the rear (behind the seats, behind the console) to tighten it, but I can't seem to get the search function to work so I couldn't find it. Sorry.
