Clifford responded to my problems, and once they started to respond they have been great. They sent a technician to inspect my install at the original installer's site. No problems, so well done Premier Systems in Northampton. They then replaced the main control unit with one which has been modified to reduce its sensitivity to interference. Plus they modified the two key fob remotes.

Since then, no problems at all. Only been a month and 1000 miles, so cannot be completely sure, but the alarm now seems to do what it is supposed to do. I suspect I am "sorted". I have to say Clifford and the installer have been excellent; very easy to deal with. I am also confident that if I do have a repeat of the problem they will react very quickly and effectively.

My faith has been restored.

About three months ago, my entire system stopped working After jury rigging it so I could start and drive my car, I had the main unit sent back to DEI through a local dealer. It took them over a month to get it back to me, but whatever they did resolved the problem (for now, at least). I will never install one of their systems in my car again, and the trouble I've been through has sorely tempted me to eventually make my own complete alarm system.

I will only rip the entire system out if it has a catastrophic failure and I can't get it back, otherwise I'll leave it in as long as it's doing its job.
