Thumbs up Converting to 50w HID lowbeam

I know they make 50w kits for lights "racing application". If someone (say me) wanted to install a 50w kit HID system in his low beams for "show use" How would that work.. ok well not really for show but what ever..A few questions...

-can the lights run @ 50w all the time? I see it says 50w boost.. what does that mean?

-Im under the impression you can you use standard bulbs (35w) but the life of the bulb will decrease 20%-50%... But the bulb will still work because bulbs are rated for up to 70w.. Is that correct.

-I was thinking about getting a 50w kit and putting 6000K bulbs.. I think that would look awsome.

If thoes of you who know about this could provide some feedback that would be great. please no negative comments.

Can you link me?

Ive never seen a 50W hid kit. Any HID kit that Ive ever seen has been 35 watt. Off road use HIDs are any HIDs that are 6000K+.

i wouldn't use that, it's very cheaply made and your stock system is not meant to take that type of load.

This might help, page 28
